Motivation letter:
I have a solid base of studies, which has allowed me to develop analytical and problem-solving skills. However, I feel that computer science and networks offer endless challenges and opportunities for continuous learning that I am excited to explore. My goal is to acquire the necessary knowledge to excel in areas such as system administration, networks and information protection.
I am determined to learn and grow in this dynamic and promising field, and I strive to apply innovative solutions through technology, in order to contribute to the development of efficient and avant-garde projects.

Challenge 1 consists of the efficient configuration and management of digital tools for academic and professional use. Includes synchronization of corporate email on your mobile, organization of the inbox with labels and filters, and signature settings and automatic responses. We also work with the electronic agenda to synchronize schedules and calendars, both personal and academic. In addition, it prepares a workspace as local as in the cloud, installing tools such as VirtualBox, Vagrant, Packet Tracer and Visual Studio Code, managing passwords and bookmarks, and structuring directories in Drive with backups. Access to platforms such as Google, Netacad, Moodle and Miro with corporate accounts is guaranteed, and a digital portfolio is configured in WordPress with security, SEO and content organization. Finally, a style book is defined that includes corporate image, typography, colors and page structure to maintain visual and functional coherence in all digital tools.

Challenge 2 focuses on the identification and management of risks in the classroom, including risk detection, protection measures, applicable regulations and use of AI to generate conceptual maps. It also includes the channeling of the work islands through the classroom map, inventory of materials, creation of latiguillos and labelling of network points. In addition, structured wiring is carried out with cable pulling, connection to patch panels and management of the existing wiring. We work with projection systems through the creation and restoration of disk images and simulations in virtual machines. Workplace communication elements are also developed, including physical and digital materials, operating manuals and AI use to improve them. Finally, a virtual network is configured with virtual machine export, network configuration and creation of an IP address plan, replicating the home work system.
Participates: Cristian Lozano, Alberto García, Fabrizio Peroni, Javier Perez.

Challenge 3 consists of preparing and managing a classroom laptop, including installing Windows 10 in evaluation mode, creating a restoring point, and basic equipment configuration. In addition, the operating system is set up with updates, software installation, remote administration and configuration of services such as Chocolatey. A wireless network is also configured by preparing and administering an access point (AP), as well as the configuration and backup of connected devices. Finally, work is done on the implementation of a helpdesk service, establishing protocols for the resolution of audio, video and network incidents, and creating help resources such as a cheat sheet and a FAQ to facilitate the use of the equipment.
Participates: Cristian Lozano, Izan Lecina.

In this challenge I will work with Big Data, managing large volumes of data to extract relevant and useful information. I will start by understanding the basic principles of Big Data, including 5 Vs (Volume, Speed, Variety, Veracity and Value). I will set up a working environment using tools such as Hadoop, Spark and NoSQL databases to store and process data efficiently. In addition, I will learn data analysis and visualization techniques to identify patterns and trends. I will also explore how artificial intelligence and machine learning can help in the processing of big data. Finally, I will investigate best practices in data security and privacy to ensure ethical and responsible use. This challenge will allow me to understand how data is managed on a large scale and to apply it in real situations.
Participate: Cristian Lozano.

In this challenge, I will face the configuration and management of servers and networks. I will start with the selection and assembly of the server components, making sure to clean and adapt the components to ensure optimal performance. Then, I will install the Debian operating system on the server and Linux Mint (MATE) to clients, creating users and setting up the necessary privileges for proper system administration. I will also set up a Moodle server to manage courses, users and subscriptions, and a NextCloud server to store and share files, securely via 2FA. In addition, I will integrate Moodle with NextCloud to improve the management of educational resources. In the field of internationalization, I will create guides and teaching materials for users. For sustainability, I will analyze the environmental impact of the use of technology, comparing paper and Moodle testing systems in terms of energy consumption and material resources. Finally, I will set up the connection network, establishing an access point, managing customers, and applying MAC filtering and an IP address plan for the network. This challenge will allow me to manage a complete network infrastructure and servers, focusing on optimization, security and sustainability.
